On July 1st, ColorOS announced the official launch of “Deep Execution” for OPPO’s Xiao Bu Assistant. This significant feature is now rolling out to OPPO Find X8 series, OPPO Find N5 series, and OnePlus 13 series devices.
With Deep Execution, users can effortlessly leverage AI by simply inputting a single sentence. The assistant can then automatically generate comprehensive travel itineraries, dissect complex business reports, track policy trends, and even produce PDF documents with integrated visualized webpages.
Chen Xi, Design Director of ColorOS, recently shared insights into Deep Execution, highlighting its groundbreaking nature. He emphasized that this represents the mobile industry’s first system-level deep execution capability and, notably, it is available to users completely free of charge.
Chen Xi stated that the vision for Xiao Bu is to become a personal “deep research expert” in every user’s pocket. For both professional reports and everyday topics, a single request outlining the research needs allows Xiao Bu to autonomously conduct in-depth searches and studies, outputting professional research materials in various formats. This capability is designed to save users considerable time and effort.
Deep Execution is not merely a basic large language model output. Users can observe Xiao Bu’s methodical approach to dissecting and planning research tasks. The information sources used are transparent and traceable, and the assistant supports direct output in formats like PDF and webpages, complete with both text and visuals. This advancement significantly enhances the structuring of knowledge and the richness of content.
Chen Xi also revealed that the supported output formats for Deep Execution will gradually expand, with PPT format slated for an upcoming release. Furthermore, the company is actively working to adapt this feature for a wider range of smartphone models.
Currently, the team is simultaneously testing the V2.0 model, which promises even better performance in task decomposition, logical reasoning, the breadth of web sources, and the organization of viewpoints and facts.
