The 28th Chengdu Auto Show commenced today, with Changan Automobile occupying Hall 10 to showcase its complete brand lineup. As a new force under the new central enterprise Changan, the all-new Deep Blue S07 made its debut at the auto show, presenting a comprehensive evolution.
It is reported that the all-new Deep Blue S07 is the only SUV in its class to come standard with Huawei Qiankun intelligent driving system across all trims, boasting the four core values of being the “most luxurious, most comfortable, most intelligent, and most economical and powerful” in its segment.
The exterior of the all-new Deep Blue S07 has been refreshed, with split headlights on both sides offering enhanced recognition and interactive functions. These can provide pedestrian concessions, driving status reminders, and special scene animations.
The side profile of the vehicle continues the dynamic styling of the current Deep Blue S07, complemented by a black floating roofline, which further accentuates its sporty stance.
In terms of dimensions, the new car measures 4750mm in length, 1930mm in width, and 1625mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2900mm. Despite being positioned as a compact SUV, it offers spaciousness comparable to B-segment SUVs.
The interior adopts a new luxurious yacht design with a wraparound floating center console, creating a clean and technologically advanced ambiance.
The new car is equipped with a 15.6-inch 2.5K high-definition central control screen and a head-up display system. The infotainment system is powered by Qualcomm’s third-generation digital cockpit platform, featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, and supports functions such as facial recognition and voice interaction.
The interior boasts up to 10.7 square meters of soft-wrapped surfaces, with some areas featuring 100% plush velour – the same material used in the AITO M9, lending a premium feel. The cabin offers three color options: Moon Mist Grey, Hot Wave Orange, and Twilight Smoke Purple.
The front zero-gravity massage seats can recline to a 120-degree angle and offer 16-way power adjustment for the driver’s seat and 14-way for the passenger’s seat. Combined with graphene heating and physical therapy functions, these features maximize passenger comfort.
In terms of driver-assistance systems, the all-new Deep Blue S07 is the only vehicle in its class to be equipped with the Huawei Qiankun intelligent driving ADS SE system across all trims. Coupled with the Huawei Qiankun intelligent driving ADS 4 SE system, it improves traffic efficiency by 20%, reduces harsh braking by 30%, enables smoother lane changes, and offers more human-like driving.
For intelligent parking assistance, a key concern for car owners, the new car excels in recognition accuracy, diversity of scenarios, and ease of parking. It supports precise recognition in over 300 scenarios, enabling multi-angle entry and exit in complex environments. It also integrates leading-edge functions such as memory parking, remote parking, and garage entry without the driver.
In terms of powertrain and range, the all-new Deep Blue S07 is available in both pure electric and extended-range variants. The extended-range version is equipped with a 95-horsepower 1.5L range extender and offers two motor power options: 238 horsepower and 258 horsepower. The CLTC pure electric range is 125km, 215km, and 285km, respectively, with a fuel consumption of 3.8L/100km (NEDC) when the battery is depleted, and a comprehensive range of up to 1200km.
