According to Fast Technology on September 1st, Zhang Guoquan from Xiaomi’s Software Department stated that they have received user feedback regarding issues such as NFC card swiping for island access, food delivery notifications, and the integration of more third-party services. These features will be updated soon, and users are asked to give the engineering team some time.
Just last week, Xiaomi HyperOS 3 introduced the “Super Island” feature, which merges focus notifications and device notifications to provide users with key information at a glance. This innovative approach aims to enhance user experience by consolidating and presenting important alerts in a unified, easily digestible manner.
Xiaomi’s Super Island also boasts industry-first features like a pull-down mini-window and drag-and-drop sharing. This allows users to promptly share Didi ride information with WeChat friends, enabling a seamless and intuitive usage experience. Such functionalities offer a creative solution for managing notification information, making it more actionable and convenient.
Furthermore, Xiaomi HyperOS 3 has enhanced its cross-device interoperability. By installing the “Xiaomi Interconnection Service” on iPhones, iPads, and Macs, users can achieve cross-device collaboration between Xiaomi phones and Apple ecosystem devices. This means Xiaomi phone notifications can easily flow to iPhones, providing a more convenient way for users who dual-wield iPhones and Xiaomi devices to manage their information.
