According to Fast Technology on September 23, Chery’s Luxeed brand is planning to launch a brand new MPV model next year. This vehicle will primarily target the family market, distinguishing itself from the Luxeed and Exeed MPVs which are more geared towards business use.

Exterior Spy Shots
Recently, two interior spy shots of the Luxeed MPV have been leaked online. Although still in the early testing phase, they offer valuable insights into the vehicle’s core features.
The most significant change highlighted in the spy photos is the adoption of a new integrated large screen, a design that differs from the familiar setups in the Wenjie M9, M8, and Zone S800. It remains to be seen if the characteristic “large black bezels,” often a feature in previous models, will be present.
The steering wheel is not perfectly circular but rather resembles an olive shape. However, judging by the conspicuous white color, it’s highly probable that this is a temporary unit and not the final production steering wheel.
In terms of interior details, the vehicle features an electronic gear shifter and a reduced number of physical buttons. It is equipped with manual air conditioning vents, a dual wireless phone charging panel with dual air cooling, and dual cup holders.
The spy shots also provide a glimpse of the second-row seats. These are designed as individual captain’s chairs, but instead of fixed armrests, they feature what is commonly known as “beckoning cat” style supports, a design choice prioritizing convenience and ease of use for a family-oriented MPV.
Interestingly, the control buttons for the second-row seats are positioned on the inner side. Combined with the recessed groove on the door handle, this strongly suggests that the second-row seats will likely have a rotational feature. This would enable them to face the third row, creating a lounge-like seating arrangement and expanding the interior’s versatility and usage scenarios.
Based on previous information, this vehicle is built on the E0X-L platform and carries the internal codename “EHV.” It will be available in both pure electric and extended-range electric (EREV) configurations, with batteries supplied by CATL. The vehicle is expected to launch in the first half of next year, with a positioning in the 300,000 RMB price segment.
