On October 12th, in celebration of its 50th anniversary, Microsoft has launched a custom-designed pair of clogs imbued with nostalgia, inspired by the iconic Windows XP operating system.
The design of these clogs draws heavily from the classic Windows XP interface, most notably featuring the universally recognized “Bliss” wallpaper. Elements of the serene blue sky and fluffy white clouds have been cleverly incorporated into the shoe’s upper, instantly evoking fond memories for many users.
Beyond the nostalgic design, the clogs come with a set of custom Microsoft Jibbitz charms. These include the classic MSN logo, Internet Explorer icon, the beloved Clippy the office assistant, and the distinctive mouse cursor, further enhancing the retro appeal.
Initially, these clogs were exclusively available to Microsoft employees. Subsequently, Microsoft offered a limited release to the public through a raffle. Now, Microsoft has officially made these limited edition clogs available for direct purchase, priced at $79.95 USD (approximately 570 Chinese Yuan).
Customers who purchase these clogs will also receive a collectible bag featuring the “Bliss” wallpaper theme, adding to the overall collectibility of the product. This thoughtful inclusion further elevates the item from a simple piece of merchandise to a tangible piece of digital history.

The year 2025 marks Microsoft’s 50th anniversary, a significant milestone that the company is commemorating through various initiatives. In addition to these commemorative clogs, Microsoft has also unveiled other special releases, including a limited edition Surface laptop and custom Xbox dynamic themes, all designed to celebrate its rich technological legacy.
