On October 13th, vivo officially released the vivo X300 Pro, with a starting price of 5299 Yuan.
The vivo X300 Pro is available in several configurations: 12GB RAM + 256GB storage at 5299 Yuan, 16GB RAM + 512GB storage at 5999 Yuan, 16GB RAM + 1TB storage at 6699 Yuan, and a 16GB RAM + 1TB storage “Photographer’s Edition” (with satellite communication support) at 8299 Yuan. It comes in four color options: Pure Black, Simple White, Free Blue, and Wilderness Brown.
In terms of core specifications, the vivo X300 Pro features a 6.78-inch flat display. It is powered by the Dimensity 9500 flagship platform. The device is equipped with a substantial 6510mAh battery, supporting 90W wired and 40W wireless fast charging. For photography, it boasts a 50-megapixel front AF camera and a rear camera system comprising a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. The phone has a thickness of 7.99mm and comes pre-installed with OriginOS 6.
As a new addition to the X series, the vivo X300 Pro features a Zeiss gimbal-grade main camera blueprint combined with the Sony LYT-828 sensor. This camera system offers an impressive 1.5° wide-angle gimbal-level stabilization and CIPA 5.5 professional-grade stabilization, making it specifically engineered for videography. The inclusion of a gimbal stabilization system in a smartphone’s main camera is a significant engineering feat, aimed at providing exceptionally smooth footage, comparable to dedicated camera gimbals, even in challenging shooting conditions.
The device incorporates two dedicated image processing chips, VS1 and V3+, which are responsible for pre-processing and post-processing of image information, respectively. This dual-chip architecture contributes to a wider range of supported scenes, faster image capture, and ultimately, superior output quality. This advanced image processing approach indicates vivo’s commitment to enhancing computational photography, aiming to deliver professional-grade results directly from the smartphone.
For telephoto capabilities, the vivo X300 Pro is equipped with a Zeiss 200-megapixel APO super telephoto lens, a sensor co-developed by vivo and Samsung. It supports vivo Zeiss telephoto extenders and is promoted as an ideal tool for watching performances, sporting events, and wildlife photography. The lens offers an equivalent focal length of 200mm and can achieve a seamless zoom range between 200mm and 5400mm, promising to deliver stunning long-distance photography experiences.
Furthermore, the vivo X300 Pro includes a variety of portrait shooting modes. These features are designed to enhance portrait photography by offering functionalities such as all-focal-length motion portrait capture, night portrait optimization, fireworks portrait effects, and “tear film” effects, further broadening creative possibilities for users.
