On October 25th, reports from Kuai Technology indicate that T-Rebel Innovations Co., Ltd. has launched its fourth-generation portable cinema glasses, the T-Rebel Air 4 series AR glasses, starting at 1599 yuan.
This marks a significant advancement in Augmented Reality display technology, as these are the world’s first AR glasses to support HDR10. They are equipped with the Vision 4000 image processing chip, a sound system jointly tuned by B&O renowned for its audio expertise, and further enhanced with AI HDR and AI 3D video capabilities. These features collectively aim to elevate the visual and auditory experience to unprecedented levels.
We have received this new product in our review lab, and we are now pleased to present a hands-on look with accompanying images.
The T-Rebel Air 4Pro is a groundbreaking device that achieves HDR10 image quality support for the first time in an AR glasses form factor. This translates to a dynamic range of brightness that is double that of conventional displays, offering a peak brightness of 1200 nits and an astonishing color depth of up to 1.07 billion colors. Compared to traditional 8-bit color, this represents a 64-fold increase in color richness, promising a viewing experience so vivid it feels akin to being present at the director’s creative studio.
Furthermore, it holds the distinction of being the first AR glasses globally to feature audio tuning by B&O. The device is outfitted with four speakers, utilizing large-diaphragm, high-polymer diaphragm units and driven by an independent DAC chip. This sophisticated audio setup ensures a cleaner, more layered, and immersive sound experience.
The introduction of the AI 3D function is another industry first. Leveraging advanced AI analysis, users can convert 2D videos into 3D format with a single click, offering a deeply immersive viewing experience that transports the user directly into the content.
