According to a report from Kuai Technology on July 8th, at the Luxeed brand night event held this evening, in addition to the official unveiling of the brand logo, the upcoming Luxeed S9 wagon variant was also previewed, with an expected market launch in the fall of this year.
Based on previous statements from Richard Yu, who mentioned purchasing a three-seater version of the Volvo S90, it is highly anticipated that the Luxeed S9 wagon will target the luxury wagon segment, potentially competing with models like the Volvo V90 and the Audi A6 Allroad. This strategic positioning suggests a focus on premium features and a refined driving experience.
Spy shots of the Luxeed S9 wagon variant had previously circulated online, providing an early glimpse of the vehicle’s design.

From an aesthetic perspective, the S9 wagon is characterized by its distinctive long and elegant silhouette, a hallmark of the wagon body style. It features a streamlined roofline and smoothly contoured body panels, maintaining a design language consistent with the sedan version of the Luxeed S9. The overall design appears to prioritize both practicality and a sophisticated presence.
The new model is equipped with a generously sized rear spoiler, and its taillight design bears a strong resemblance to that of the AITO M8. These design cues suggest a continuation of the brand’s established styling direction.
Regarding pricing and specifications, the extended-range version of the Luxeed S9 is priced between 309,800 and 369,800 RMB. The vehicle measures 5160mm in length, 2005mm in width, and 1486mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3050mm. Notably, it incorporates three high-precision solid-state lidar units, and all models will receive an upgrade to HUAWEI ADS 4 in the third quarter of this year, indicating a significant advancement in autonomous driving capabilities.

The extended-range powertrain consists of a 1.5T engine and a drive motor, with the engine having a maximum power output of 118kW and the motor delivering a maximum power of 227kW. Battery options include capacities of 37kWh and 53.4kWh, offering flexibility for different consumer needs.
The all-electric version of the Luxeed S9 comes standard with a 100kWh CATL ternary lithium battery and utilizes an 800V high-voltage fast-charging platform. Its pricing ranges from 399,800 to 449,800 RMB, positioning it as a premium offering in the electric vehicle market.
The Luxeed S9 wagon is anticipated to be priced in the 300,000 to 400,000 RMB range. For enthusiasts of the wagon body style, this forthcoming model presents a compelling and highly anticipated option, likely to combine practical utility with advanced technology and refined aesthetics.
