Background information indicates that bone cancer, also known as bone tumors, refers to tumors originating in the bones or their adjacent tissues. Malignant bone tumors are categorized as primary or secondary. Secondary malignant bone tumors occur when malignant tumors from other organs or tissues metastasize to the bone through the bloodstream or lymphatic system.
The primary early symptom of bone tumors is pain. Initially, the pain is mild and intermittent, but it gradually intensifies as the disease progresses. This highlights the importance of early detection and intervention for bone cancers.
