Recently， various online platforms have been widely circulating information stating， “Pang Dong Lai: If e-commerce collapses， 5 million people will be jobless; brick-and-mortar stores: If physical stores fully revive， they can create 500 million jobs…”
Pang Dong Lai explicitly stated that they have never released such topics or statements， and the related misinformation has a severely misleading impact.
The company urged those fabricating and spreading false information to cease immediately and remove the related content. They encouraged the public to be informed， exercise discretion， and avoid casually spreading unsubstantiated information to prevent being misled or harming their own rights and the social environment.
According to official data from Pang Dong Lai’s website， the group’s total sales for the first half of the year reached 11.707 billion yuan. Specifically， supermarkets accounted for 6.350 billion yuan， jewelry for 1.182 billion yuan， and electrical appliances for 1.180 billion yuan.
In June of this year， Pang Dong Lai’s founder， Yu Dong Lai， announced on his personal Douyin account that “Pang Dong Lai’s estimated net profit for 2025 is around 1.5 billion yuan. The average after-tax monthly income for over 8，000 employees is expected to reach 9，000 yuan， with management and technical personnel receiving approximately 700，000 yuan each.”
