Genshin Impact has announced that in preparation for future content updates and to enhance the game’s performance， the “Songs of the Moonlit Sky” update will introduce higher device performance requirements.
Consequently， both the supported and recommended configuration requirements for the game will be elevated.
Devices that do not meet the supported configuration may still be able to launch the game， but players may experience reduced stability， including potential lagging or game crashes.
Notably， the new configuration requirements list has removed PlayStation consoles such as the PS4， PS4 Slim， and PS4 Pro (as seen in previous announcements). This has led many players to speculate that Genshin Impact version 6.0 may no longer support the PS4. HoYoverse has also released a separate announcement regarding the discontinuation of support and updates for the PS4 version.
