According to data from RUNTO (洛图科技)， China’s market for television wholesale shipments experienced a significant decline of 14.3% in July， marking the largest year-on-year drop in the past 13 months. This downturn reflects a broader trend of market contraction and evolving consumer demand within the television industry.
Concurrently， the competitive landscape among the top 10 global TV contract manufacturers has shown considerable divergence. The disparity in production capacity and order volume between leading and lagging enterprises has widened， indicating a strengthening of the Matthew effect within the industry， where well-established players continue to gain dominance.
In July， among the 10 professional factories surveyed， five saw an increase in shipments， four experienced a decrease， and one remained stable. The magnitude of these fluctuations was substantial for each category. Specifically， BOE VT (视讯)， TPV (冠捷)， Express Luck (彩迅)， and Foxconn (富士康) all reported year-on-year growth exceeding 10%. Conversely， the four factories that saw declines experienced a reduction of over 10% in their shipments compared to the same period last year.
MOKA (茂佳) maintained its leading position in July， with shipments hovering around 1.5 million units， essentially flat compared to the previous year. This stability has contributed to MOKA’s strong performance in the first seven months of the year， with a cumulative shipment growth of 7.7% compared to the same period in 2024， cementing its significant lead.
AMTC (兆驰) ranked second among professional contract manufacturers in July， with approximately 1.2 million units shipped. Despite a year-on-year decrease， AMTC demonstrated a positive month-on-month growth of nearly 10% from June， suggesting a potential recovery or stabilization in its performance.
BOE VT (视讯) secured the third position among professional contract manufacturers， shipping around 1.14 million units in July. This represents a substantial year-on-year increase of 70.1%， making it the factory with the highest growth rate for the month. BOE VT also achieved the largest growth among professional contract manufacturers in the first half of the year， highlighting its impressive trajectory and market penetration.
