The all-new AITO M7 is slated for release this September. While its exterior and interior designs have been fully unveiled, official updates confirm that the vehicle will feature Huawei’s ADS 4.0 system right from its launch.
According to official imagery, as a key highlight, the new M7 will sport six “intelligent driving indicator lights,” strategically placed on the front, side mirrors, and rear of the vehicle for symmetrical visual indication.
The new model adopts the brand’s family design language, featuring a closed-off front fascia. The headlight design bears resemblance to the AITO M8, but with C-shaped daytime running lights replacing the previous integrated light bar, and the headlights are now connected by a chrome accent piece.
The vehicle boasts substantial dimensions, measuring 5080mm in length, 1999mm in width, and 1780mm in height, with an impressive wheelbase of 3030mm. This represents a significant increase of 210mm compared to the current model’s 2820mm wheelbase. The AITO M7 will be available in both five-seat and six-seat configurations.
Positioned as a traditional SUV, its overall profile is robust and boxy. It will be equipped with semi-hidden door handles, similar to those found on the M8, integrating both electronic and mechanical unlocking mechanisms. This design choice enhances safety redundancy, ensuring accessibility even in the event of severe collisions.
The rear design largely inherits the M8’s aesthetic, leaning towards a softer, rounded appearance. The贯穿式 (through-type) taillight remains, complemented by a prominent chrome strip. However, reflecting its slightly lower market positioning compared to the M8, the intricate dot-matrix lighting elements present on the M8’s outer edges have been omitted.

The interior has also undergone a comprehensive upgrade. The central control screen has been enlarged from 15.6 inches to 16.1 inches with a 3K resolution. A new zero-gravity seat for the driver is introduced, which, in conjunction with the electric steering wheel adjustment, offers a novel one-touch recline experience. Rear passengers benefit from a new overhead entertainment screen, and the vehicle is equipped with a car refrigerator/warmer.

In terms of powertrain, the range-extended version will continue to utilize a 1.5T engine as the range extender, producing a maximum power of 115 kW, coupled with the Huawei DriveONE electric motor.
The rear-wheel-drive variant will deliver a maximum power of 227 kW, while the all-wheel-drive variant boasts a maximum power of 392 kW (165 kW front, 227 kW rear). All models will be equipped with batteries supplied by CATL, offering both LFP (lithium iron phosphate) for lower trims and NMC (ternary lithium) for higher trims.
The pure electric version is expected to be built on an 800V architecture and will also be available in rear-wheel and all-wheel-drive configurations. The former will have a maximum drive motor power of 227 kW, while the latter will offer a combined 160 kW + 227 kW. These models will come standard with CATL’s NMC batteries and support ultra-fast charging, signifying a strong commitment to advanced EV technology and performance.
