On September 24th, Gaode announced the upgrade of its “Yanhuo Good Store Support Plan,” allowing catering merchants to join the Gaode platform free of charge.
According to the latest report, Gaode saw a staggering 631% month-on-month increase in newly registered catering merchants on September 23rd, setting a new historical record.
The core of this new policy is a combination of “full exemption + multiple subsidies.” All catering merchants will receive a one-year exemption from platform entry fees. This initiative aims to significantly lower the barrier to entry for businesses in the food and beverage sector.
Furthermore, Gaode is providing a suite of support measures for merchants dedicated to quality cuisine. These benefits include enhanced traffic exposure, dedicated customer service, and smart point-of-sale solutions, designed to help these businesses thrive.
In terms of initial setup costs, merchants can benefit from a waiver of up to 4800 yuan for their first year’s store opening fee, enabling a zero-burden start. The platform also indicates that further advanced support will be rolled out in the future, suggesting a long-term commitment to partner growth.
To capitalize on the upcoming National Day holiday and drive customer traffic, Gaode is investing over 950 million yuan in consumer subsidies and 200 million yuan in travel subsidies. This substantial “billion-level subsidy matrix” is intended to boost merchant visibility and customer engagement during this peak season.
