On September 29th, according to Kuaitech, LeDao Auto announced today that since the delivery of the LeDao L90 began on August 1st, it has achieved a delivery milestone of over 20,000 units in less than two months, setting a new record for the fastest delivery of a large SUV.
Following families like Sha Yi and Hu Ke, and Guo Tao, Xiao Shenyang’s family has become the 20,000th owner of the LeDao L90. This indicates a growing trend of celebrity families opting for the LeDao L90 as their preferred three-row family SUV.
Furthermore, in the sales rankings for large SUVs from September 15th to September 21st, the LeDao L90 consistently secured a spot within the TOP 3 of the three-row SUV category. It significantly outperformed competitors such as Li Xiang i8, L9, L8, and Tesla Model Y L.
The domestic market for large SUVs typically sees monthly sales below the 10,000-unit mark. However, the LeDao L90, since commencing deliveries, has consecutively entered the TOP 3 in weekly sales charts for large SUVs for four weeks. This achievement challenges the long-standing dominance of range-extender vehicles in this segment’s weekly rankings.
In terms of production capacity, the LeDao L90 has exceeded expectations, with its production capacity in October reaching 15,000 units. This robust production capability will further bolster the LeDao L90’s competitive edge in the market.
NIO has stated that the LeDao L90 has also provided significant momentum for NIO’s overall performance. Since pre-sales for the LeDao L90 opened on July 10th, NIO’s Hong Kong-listed shares have cumulatively risen by 86.96%, and its US-listed shares have seen a cumulative increase of 72.90%. The successful launch of both the L90 and the ES8 is seen as a “double impact” strategy that has propelled the company’s stock price to new heights, restoring its market capitalization to over 100 billion yuan.
