According to the latest information from the official WeChat account “Di Fen Zhi Jia,” the BYD Han Extended Edition, comprising 26 models, is officially set to launch on October 10th. This new release will introduce both DM-i hybrid and EV pure electric versions, featuring targeted upgrades in range, core configurations, and interior details.
As a key highlight of this extended edition, the new vehicles demonstrate significant breakthroughs in their range capabilities.
Specifically, the DM-i hybrid version will offer a new 245km range option, while the EV pure electric version will see its range extended to 635km. These improvements further enhance the competitiveness of the BYD Han within its segment of pure electric vehicles.
In terms of configuration, the new models will be equipped with BYD’s self-developed DiSus-C intelligent chassis system. The interior has undergone detailed adjustments, including a repositioning of the wireless charging module, and the addition of a practical column shifter and a car refrigerator, all designed to enhance the convenience of daily driving.
For color options, this extended edition introduces two personalized paint colors: “Frosty White Gold” and “Pine Shadow Green.” Concurrently, the piano black paint finish previously used in the interior has been removed. This change not only maintains aesthetics but also enhances scratch resistance for everyday use.
Consumers with recent car purchase plans, particularly those interested in mid-to-large-sized new energy sedans, are encouraged to pay close attention to the launch event on October 10th. Detailed specifications, official pricing, and purchasing policies will be announced at that time. This move by BYD signals a continued commitment to refining its flagship sedan, aiming to capture a broader market share by addressing user feedback and enhancing the overall ownership experience.
