According to iQOO’s official announcement on October 22nd, the iQOO 15 achieved a sales volume of over 142,000 units within the first 4 hours of its launch, setting a new sales record for the iQOO brand. The brand expressed gratitude for the strong market reception and support from consumers. Ge Lan, the product manager for iQOO, humorously remarked that he woke up to find himself owing a significant number of phones, reflecting the overwhelming demand.
The iQOO 15 is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship processor, and it also features the self-developed gaming chip Q3. Coupled with LPDDR5X Ultra Pro memory and UFS 4.1 storage, it delivers impressive benchmark scores, boasting a 20% improvement in single-core performance, a 17% increase in multi-core performance, and a 32% optimization in response speed. This configuration places it at the forefront of mobile performance.
In its dedicated “Monster Mode,” the iQOO 15 allocates hardware resources to prioritize gaming scenarios. Assisted by the “Super Core Foresight” scheduling function, which analyzes previous frames to predict the computing power needed for the next frame, it effectively prevents stuttering and frame drops. With an instantaneous touch sampling rate of 3200Hz and a latency as low as 44.16 milliseconds, actions like firing and adjusting camera angles are executed with exceptional responsiveness.
To manage the heat generated by its high-performance output, the iQOO 15 features a large, single-layer 8K VC vapor chamber. This advanced cooling system offers a 14% larger heat dissipation area compared to its predecessor, the iQOO 13. The chamber is integrated with 200 million nano-level graphene particles, ensuring consistent performance without thermal throttling, even during extended gaming sessions.
The display on the iQOO 15 is equally impressive, featuring the first-ever 2K Samsung Aurora Borealis screen. This panel globally debuts 2K LED OLED and M14 luminous materials, along with a suite of new eye-protection technologies. It offers generational advancements across seven key aspects: clarity, brightness, color reproduction, eye protection, power consumption, lifespan, and touch responsiveness, delivering a viewing experience that is both vibrant and comfortable on the eyes.
Furthermore, the iQOO 15 is powered by a substantial 7000mAh single-cell “Blue Sea” battery. It supports 100W wired ultra-fast charging and 40W wireless charging, providing users with ample power and convenient charging options. The initial starting price for the iQOO 15 was set at 4199 yuan.
