On October 23rd, a new lightweight mirrorless camera, the Fujifilm X-T30 III, was officially launched. Priced at 6499 yuan for the body alone, it is scheduled to be available in early November.
This new model continues the brand’s classic retro design philosophy and features a one-button switch for its classic color modes. Users can now effortlessly access popular film simulations such as “REALA ACE,” which faithfully reproduces textures, and “NOSTALGIC Neg.,” offering a vintage, rich look.
A notable addition is the physical control dial on the top plate for film simulations, alongside three custom storage slots. This allows users to preset their preferred color profiles and recall them with a simple dial turn, significantly enhancing creative efficiency and streamlining the shooting process.
In terms of core performance, the X-T30 III is equipped with a 26.1-megapixel X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and the fifth-generation X-Processor 5. This powerful combination leads to a processing speed that is nearly twice as fast as its predecessor. The upgraded AI intelligent autofocus system is capable of accurately identifying a wide range of subjects, including animals, vehicles, and aircraft, thereby substantially improving the success rate of capturing fast-moving action.
Video capabilities have also seen significant advancements, with support for internal recording of 6.2K/30P 10-bit footage and 1080/240P slow-motion recording. These features provide creators with greater flexibility in their video production workflows.
The camera maintains the series’ signature lightweight design, weighing in at just 378 grams. Its compact body is complemented by a retro central viewfinder aesthetic, making it exceptionally portable. The inclusion of a 1.62-million-dot flip-out touchscreen, a one-touch AUTO mode selector, and a pop-up flash further enhances user convenience and adaptability across various shooting scenarios.
