As reported on October 24th by Kuaikeji， a user of Zhangxue motorcycles recently posted a video claiming they were cut off by a BMW driver. Feeling provoked， the user reportedly cursed at the BMW driver， leading to an altercation where the motorcycle user was allegedly kicked and beaten.
Following widespread online discussion about the incident， a store account for Zhangxue motorcycles posted a video stating， “Don’t worry if you’re not good with words， Zhangxue will speak for you，” announcing the company’s intention to assist the user in pursuing legal action.
Media outlets contacted Zhang Xue， the founder of Zhangxue motorcycles， who confirmed that the incident occurred in Hefei a couple of days prior. The user was riding normally when they were cut off， which escalated from a verbal dispute to a physical altercation. Zhang Xue specified that the motorcycle user did not retaliate.
Zhang Xue explained that as a fellow rider， he was incensed by the video. Recognizing his company’s greater influence compared to an individual rider， he aimed to leverage this to support the rider’s rights. He stated that the company’s current stance is to reject any out-of-court settlements， with Zhangxue motorcycles agreeing to cover any differential in compensation.
It is noteworthy that this is not the first time Zhang Xue has publicly supported a rider facing a similar situation.
Previous reports from July of this year recount an incident where a Zhangxue motorcycle rider， while riding normally， was repeatedly and aggressively cut off by a black Volvo. At an intersection， the motorcycle rider questioned the Volvo driver about not observing lane markings. The Volvo driver immediately exited their vehicle and proceeded to verbally abuse the motorcycle rider.
The motorcycle rider chose not to escalate the conflict further and instead posted the video online， which garnered significant attention. Zhang Xue， the founder of Zhangxue motorcycles， promptly reached out to the rider and declared his commitment to the case， promising to utilize company resources to support legal efforts.
Ultimately， the aggressive Volvo driver was detained. The motorcycle rider expressed his sincere gratitude to Zhang Xue for his resolute support.
