On July 6th at 10:00 AM， Xiaomi’s SU7 officially opened its limited-time modification window， which will remain open until July 7th at 23:59:59. All Xiaomi SU7 reservation holders who completed their lock-in orders before July 6th， 10:00 AM (excluding those who have already secured a physical vehicle) are eligible to participate in this modification event.
Lei Jun， CEO of Xiaomi， shared insights into the current modification trends， noting that a significant number of customers are opting for the Max version of the SU7. He also observed a preference for specific color choices， with “Sea Salt Blue” (影青色)， “Pearl White” (珍珠白)， and “Meteor Shower Gold” (流金粉) being the most popular selections among those modifying their orders.
Currently， the Xiaomi SU7 is available in three variants: Standard， Pro， and Max. The Standard version is a rear-wheel-drive model featuring a long-range capability with its 96.3kWh CATL lithium iron phosphate battery. It boasts a CLTC range of 835km， positioning it as a leader in the mid-to-large pure electric SUV segment for range. This translates to an impressive energy consumption of only 11.49kWh per 100 kilometers， surpassing even the Tesla Model Y in efficiency.
The vehicle is equipped with a V6s Plus rear-wheel-drive motor， delivering a maximum power of 235kW and a peak torque of 528N·m. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.88 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 240 km/h.
The Xiaomi SU7 Pro shares the same battery as the Standard version but upgrades to a more potent all-wheel-drive powertrain. This enhances its acceleration to 4.27 seconds for 0-100 km/h. Additionally， the Pro model includes advanced suspension systems such as Continuous Damping Control (CDC) and closed dual-chamber air springs， further refining its driving dynamics and comfort.
Finally， the Xiaomi SU7 Max represents the top-tier offering. It features a larger 101.7kWh ternary lithium battery， providing a CLTC range of 760km. With a maximum charging multiplier of 5.2C， it can achieve a significant range boost of 620km in just 15 minutes. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is remarkably quick at 3.23 seconds， and it is equipped with Brembo four-piston fixed calipers for its braking system， underscoring its performance-oriented nature.
It is crucial for customers to be aware that once a modification is successfully submitted， the order is immediately locked. This action will result in a re-queueing of the order and a recalculation of the estimated delivery timeframe. The production and delivery sequence will be determined by the new order lock-in time after the modification has been completed.
Reports from some automotive influencers indicate that after modifying their orders to the Max version， their estimated delivery dates have been pushed back by as much as a year. Therefore， prospective buyers who prioritize an earlier delivery should carefully consider the impact of any modifications before confirming them.
