The past few days have seen a flurry of news regarding new vehicles from Hongmeng Zhixing. Following the official announcements of the Luxeed S9T and the Saymy H5, significant information about another key model from AITO, the all-new M7, has also surfaced.
Today, real-world images of the vehicle’s rear have been leaked online. Based on the badging, it’s evident that this new M7 will offer a pure electric version, in addition to the more conventionally popular extended-range variant, which is certainly not to be missed.
Unlike the current M7, the all-new generation will be built on Seres’ new Cube platform, representing a complete overhaul of the vehicle’s design. The leaked rear images strongly corroborate this transformation.
Observing the rear design, the new M7 retains a traditional SUV silhouette with a贯穿式 (continuous) taillight design. However, unlike the M8, it appears to have omitted the pixelated light elements on either side, which is likely a positioning decision given the M7’s typically lower market segment compared to the M8.
In terms of specific details, the vehicle is equipped with a hidden rear wiper, contributing to a cleaner and more minimalist visual aesthetic. Positioned in the center of the roof spoiler is a solid-state lidar unit. This feature aligns with the M8’s advanced sensor suite and is expected to significantly enhance the vehicle’s perception capabilities and intelligent driving features.

It’s also worth noting that previously leaked spy shots of the all-new M7 indicated the availability of a version without the lidar system. This suggests that it will utilize the ADS SE intelligent driving assistance solution, which could potentially translate to a more attractive price point.

The current M7 is priced between 249,800 and 329,800 yuan, while the M8 is positioned between 359,800 and 449,800 yuan. This creates a significant price gap of approximately 30,000 yuan between the two models.
Given this market segmentation, it is reasonable to speculate that the new M7’s pricing will see a slight increase. However, considering the intense competition in the current automotive market, there is also a possibility that the entry-level variant could retain its original price of 249,800 yuan, offering a compelling value proposition.
