According to foreign media reports on August 18th, Ksenia Alexandrovna, a 30-year-old former Miss Russia and participant in the Miss Universe pageant, has tragically passed away following a car accident.
The incident occurred in the Tver region of Russia. Alexandrovna was a passenger in a Porsche driven by her husband when a moose suddenly entered the roadway.
Her husband recounted that the moose collided with the vehicle’s windshield, striking Alexandrovna’s head. Significantly, the car’s airbags reportedly failed to deploy during the impact.
Regrettably, Alexandrovna suffered severe traumatic brain injury and succumbed to her injuries after more than a month of hospitalization.
Publicly available information indicates that Ksenia Alexandrovna was the first runner-up in the 2017 Miss Russia pageant and represented Russia in the 2017 Miss Universe competition.
Porsche has not yet issued a statement regarding the incident, particularly concerning the non-deployment of the safety airbags at the time of the collision. The absence of airbag deployment raises questions about vehicle safety and the specific circumstances of the crash, warranting further investigation from the manufacturer to understand the potential malfunction or contributing factors. This detail could be crucial in understanding the full extent of the vehicle’s performance during the emergency.
