Tech-time August 24th News: T-bao has recently announced the launch of the world’s first MoTD (Mobile-on-Desktop) motherboard equipped with AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D and Ryzen 9 9955HX processors.
MoTD motherboards are a technical solution that integrates mobile processors into desktop motherboards， with the higher power consumption HX series being more common. This approach aims to leverage the advanced performance and efficiency of mobile CPUs for desktop-like applications.
The two processors featured on the T-bao motherboard are high-performance CPUs designed for high-end mobile devices. They are based on the Zen 5 architecture， featuring 16 cores and 32 threads， with a maximum clock speed of up to 5.4 GHz. Their Thermal Design Power (TDP) is set at 55W， but can be configured up to 75W， offering flexibility for different cooling solutions and performance demands.
The standard version boasts 64MB of L3 cache， while the X3D version significantly enhances this by adding an additional 64MB of second-generation 3D V-Cache， bringing the total cache to a substantial 128MB. This M-ATX form factor MoTD motherboard sports a minimalist black and white color scheme.
