On September 20th, according to Kuai Technology, Riot Games has announced key details for the 2025 Global Finals, which will be held in China to commemorate the 15th anniversary of League of Legends esports.
This significant milestone will feature the return of the iconic Summoner’s Cup with a refreshed design, and the official Global Finals theme song will be performed by renowned Chinese singer G.E.M. Deng Ziqi.
The newly redesigned Summoner’s Cup retains the classic silhouette of the original while incorporating modern upgrades. Notably, it is nearly half the weight of its predecessor.
The trophy’s base measures seven inches (17.78 cm) and continues the tradition of the Tiffany & Co. edition by engraving the names of the 14 previous Global Finals winning teams.
Riot Games stated that the music video for the 2025 Global Finals theme song, led by Deng Ziqi, will focus on legendary players, representative teams, and memorable tournament moments, paying tribute to the 15-year legacy of League of Legends esports since 2011.
Players can expect to watch the music video on all major platforms in October and stream the theme song on various music platforms.
The atmosphere on the Grand Finals day will be elevated by an opening ceremony held at the Chengdu Dong’an Lake Sports Park Multipurpose Gymnasium, featuring performances by Deng Ziqi, Anyma, TEYA, and Chrissy Costanza.
The entire production promises to blend music, storytelling, and cutting-edge stage production, marking a significant milestone in the history of League of Legends esports.
