According to reports on October 6th, Dreame Technology has launched its “Tsinghua Excellence Talent Program” for its 2025 autumn campus recruitment, aiming to hire 1,000 Tsinghua University graduates in a single batch.
Within two months of launching its 2025 campus recruitment drive, data shared via the Tsinghua University employment website indicates that Dreame has already extended over 700 offers. This figure significantly surpasses Huawei’s approximately 400 offers during the same period. This marks a historical moment where Dreame has outranked Huawei in terms of total Tsinghua graduate signings, leading to its playful reputation among students as a “Tsinghua harvester” and positioning it as the largest employer of Tsinghua graduates.
To attract top-tier talent, Dreame Technology is offering a compelling compensation package with an average annual salary of 700,000 yuan. This is further enhanced by a comprehensive benefits package that includes stock options, local talent introduction subsidies of up to 180,000 yuan, and housing subsidies of up to 150,000 yuan. This aggressive recruitment strategy underscores Dreame’s ambition to secure a highly skilled workforce for its expansion.
Beyond its significant recruitment efforts, Dreame Technology has also been making notable strides and announcements recently, indicating a period of rapid growth and diversification.
On August 28th, Dreame Technology officially announced its entry into the automotive industry, unveiling plans for its first ultra-luxury pure electric vehicle, which is positioned to compete directly with the Bugatti Veyron.
Subsequently, on September 19th, Dreame Technology announced its foray into the smartphone market with the unveiling of the Dreame Space. According to leaked internal announcements, the Dreame Space will feature an “astronomical-grade camera system,” designed to empower users to capture previously unimaginable celestial phenomena such as nebulae and the Milky Way with ease.
Further solidifying its ambitious trajectory, an internal letter from Dreame CEO Yu Hao, leaked on September 25th, revealed the establishment of an “Astronomy Business Unit” (Astronomy BU). This strategic move signals Dreame’s formal commitment to venturing into asteroid exploration and mining operations.
The concurrent expansion of Dreame Technology into these three distinct business areas—automobiles, mobile phones, and astronomy—has intrinsically driven a substantial demand for new talent. This diversified growth strategy reflects a calculated effort to leverage its technological expertise across multiple high-growth sectors.
Dreame has stated that it is simultaneously expanding its recruitment efforts across its new automotive, mobile phone, and astronomy divisions. The automotive sector alone has already assembled a team of nearly a thousand individuals, with plans to launch a supercar that rivals the Bugatti by 2027. This ambitious timeline necessitates significant recruitment of talent from Tsinghua’s School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Department of Vehicle Engineering, and Department of Electrical Engineering.
