Lei Jun said that when developing the Xuanjie O1 chip, Xiaomi did not expect it to perform so well, which led to insufficient overall production plans for the O1 chip and designed for only four products.

Lei Jun also thanked Zhu Dan for his great contribution to Xiaomi and revealed that he also used a mobile phone equipped with Xuanjie Chips, which had a very good user experience. This shows that Xiaomi is confident in the performance and stability of its spontaneous chips.

He also mentioned that several mobile phones and tablets equipped with Xuanjie chips are currently in stock. Regarding some statements on the market about poor product sales, Lei Jun clearly denied this: “Three, four years ago, could you foresee that we could do well?” He further revealed that Xiaomi will certainly apply chip technology in the automotive field next, and for this, all of which have developed a four-in-one domain controller. This move aims to master core technologies and prepare for future chip applications of Xiaomi Auto.
