Xiaomi has quietly launched its new Mi Laser Projector 3, now available for pre-order on e-commerce platforms. The device is set to officially go on sale on July 10th at 20:00, with a retail price of 4399 yuan, attainable at a subsidized price of 3519.2 yuan.
The new projector boasts a native 4K resolution supported by a 0.47-inch DMD chip, ensuring a clear and detailed visual experience even on a large 120-inch screen. This level of detail is crucial for immersive viewing, offering a significant upgrade for home entertainment setups.
Utilizing a pure tri-color laser light source effectively combats issues like speckle and color fringing, leading to superior color accuracy and brightness uniformity across the projected image. This advanced lighting technology is a key differentiator, promising a more natural and vibrant picture.
The projector offers a brightness of 1000 CVIA lumens and covers 110% of the BT.2020 wide color gamut, combined with a 1600:1 contrast ratio for deep blacks and bright whites. It also supports MEMC dynamic frame interpolation to ensure smooth motion for fast-paced content and has received SGS low blue light Ex certification, promoting eye comfort during extended use.
A unique integrated gimbal design seamlessly merges the projector body with the mounting structure, allowing for a wide projection angle of up to 130 degrees. This flexible positioning capability simplifies setup and allows for projection in various challenging environments.
Equipped with an 8×8 multi-point ToF laser sensing module, coupled with a high-definition camera and AI algorithms, the projector enables rapid and precise automatic keystone correction, seamless focusing, obstacle avoidance, and wall fitting functions. These intelligent features significantly enhance user convenience by automating complex adjustments.
For audio, the projector features dual 8W speakers and a four-passive radiator acoustic system, boasting a large internal cavity for Hi-Fi quality audio output. This robust sound system aims to provide an immersive audio experience without the need for external speakers.
Under the hood, it is powered by the flagship MT9667 chip and comes with ample 3GB RAM and 64GB storage. Connectivity options include support for Xiaomi’s澎湃智联 (Peng Pai Zhi Lian) ecosystem, NFC screen mirroring, and Bluetooth music playback, making it a versatile smart home device.
Connectivity ports include HDMI 2.1, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB ports, catering to modern entertainment requirements.
