On July 30th, according to Kuaikeji, He Xiaopeng, Chairman of XPeng Motors, announced that the all-new XPeng P7 will make its China debut in Beijing on August 6th.
He Xiaopeng described the new XPeng P7 as a stylish luxury coupe, emphasizing that XPeng’s international design teams have utilized extraordinary imagination and original fashion aesthetics to create a “dream car” that defies expectations and ventures “back to the future.”
Official images of the new XPeng P7 reveal a uniquely styled vehicle that blends cyberpunk and retro elements, with unconventional designs for both the front and rear of the car.
The front lip is designed to protrude outwards, and the A-pillars extend almost straight backward before sharply sloping down to meet the roofline, imbuing the vehicle with a sporty and fashionable character.
Blogger Han Lu also recently commented, stating that the new XPeng P7 is genuinely good-looking, with an impressive real-world exterior that he believes will remain timeless for a decade, citing its retro-inspired yet extremely fashionable and sporty feel. He suggested that, conceptually, it could be considered the strongest sporty competitor to the Xiaomi SU7 in the family car segment, drawing parallels to the Nissan GT-R R35.
Furthermore, the new XPeng P7 was featured in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s new vehicle declaration catalog in June. The model will be available in three configurations, equipped with either 74.9 kWh or 92.2 kWh battery packs. The former is expected to offer a CLTC range of at least 625 km, while the latter is projected to achieve a CLTC range of up to 820 km.
Optional features for the new model include scissor doors, with the front doors offering optional anti-collision blocks, radar, and door handles. The rear of the car will feature an active lift-up spoiler. Buyers can also choose from three different wheel styles, including low-drag designs, contrasting color options, and blacked-out variants, all potentially paired with orange four-piston calipers.
Regarding pricing, considering the current XPeng P7’s starting price of 186,800 yuan, the all-new XPeng P7 is anticipated to be priced around 200,000 yuan.
