Xiaomi Addresses SU7 Standard Edition OTA “Recall” for Enhanced Driving Assistance
Beijing, September 19th – Xiaomi has officially responded to inquiries regarding the recent OTA software update for its SU7 Standard Edition vehicles, clarifying that the move is aimed at further bolstering the reliability of its advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
According to Xiaomi’s official statement, the company is providing a complimentary software upgrade via Over-The-Air (OTA) technology to all affected SU7 Standard Edition vehicles. Owners of vehicles within the recall scope can complete this OTA update by simply upgrading their car’s system to Xiaomi HyperOS version 1.10.0.
This proactive measure is designed to significantly enhance the dependability of the ADAS. Key improvements include the optimization of speed control strategies within the assisted driving functions, the introduction of a dynamic speed adjustment feature, and overall enhancements to ensure a more seamless and predictable experience when using the high-speed pilot assistance system.
Adding to the excitement, Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun, had previously announced that the highly anticipated fall version update for Xiaomi’s automotive OTA would be rolled out simultaneously for both the Xiaomi SU7 and SU7 Pro models. This major update is expected to bring a host of popular cabin functionalities, including the “Xiaomi Super Task,” “Super Xiao Ai” (Xiaomi’s AI assistant), and a “Pet Mode.”
